Minneapolis (AP) - Brett Favre's first game against his former team was all
fun for the Minnesota Vikings and all frustration for the Green Bay
Packers as he passed for 271 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-23
victory last night.
Favre, 39, went 24 for 31 without an interception.
The Vikings (4-0) sacked Favre's replacement, Aaron Rodgers, eight
times. Jared Allen was credited with 41/2 of them, including a safety.
Rodgers completed 26 of 37 passes for a career-high 384 yards and two TDs. He threw one interception.
