New York (AFP) - Lions DT Ndamukong Suh can expect a suspension of at least two games for his actions on Thanksgiving, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

In the Thanksgiving Day loss to the Packers, Suh was ejected in the third quarter for shoving Packers OL Evan Dietrich-Smith's head and stomping on him.

On Friday, Suh released a statement on his Facebook page regarding the incident.

"My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable. I made a mistake, and have learned from it," he wrote.

The Lions also released a statement on Friday.

"The on-field conduct exhibited by Ndamukong Suh that led to his ejection from yesterday's game was unacceptable and failed to meet the level of sportsmanship we expect from our players," the statement read.

According to the ESPN report, Suh, who met with commissioner Roger Goodell earlier this year to discuss his penalties and fines, could be required to attend anger management courses. Goodell is expected to have a final ruling on Tuesday.
